Spending time with my granddaughter this week was the greatest gift a dad….or Papa could receive. Whether you’re spending time with grandchildren, children or YOUR DAD, we understand how special that is! Father’s Day is this Sunday and we’ll be open from 4:00-8:00 p.m. to help you make Dad’s day a special one. We’re waiting to take your reservations so it’s not too early to reserve a spot for “DAD” now. Chef Tad will be on hand with music from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

On Father’s Day…..and any other day….. I like to enjoy a good single malt scotch when I can. So to spoil dads this year I have put together a collection of single malts from different areas of Scotland; From Highland to Lowland to Speyside to Island, they all have different taste profiles. We’ll have all four available for DAD to sample! The selections are Talisker, Dalwhinnie, Cragganmore and Glenkinchie. And of course we’ll have some food pairing suggestions to go along with those fine scotches.

New things for the Summer season!

Soon we’ll be adding a Calamari appetizer, some new pasta dishes, and we’ll be bringing back the Raspberry BBQ Ribs for the Spring/Summer season.
The patio is scheduled to be set up soon as long as the weather cooperates with us and the parking area is resurfaced!
Stay tuned for our next Wine Dinner and upcoming cooking classes in July. Catherine is planning a Kid’s Cooking Camp for sometime in July for ages 8 to 15!
We continue to offer our Wednesday Wine Special and our Friday and Saturday Appetizer Specials at the bar and we’ve recently added Samual Adams Summer Ale and Fat Tire Amber Ale on tap.

Fresh Chilean Salmon char-grilled and served with a Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Cream Sauce and topped with Romano cheese. Garnished with a Chickpea Salad comprised of Roma tomatoes, Kalamata olives, red onion, lemon and Tuscan olive oil. Welcome to Spring!

On November 15, 2012, the Toledo Free Press published a review of the Frog Leg Inn written by their reviewer, who writes under the moniker “Glass City Gourmet”. The Gourmet wrote in part, “… [T]he interior is cozy and the service is friendly. My first reaction upon being seated at a table was one of relief.
